I have pretty much been abandoning LJ since I have my Twitter account. LOL. Anyway, 2 papers down and just 2 more to go! The back-to-back papers (on the 12th and 13th) are pretty tough ones though, so I'll just have to really sit down and study over the next few days. :S

Heard the song first and it's not great but extremely addictive, with the repetition of words like "aigoo, true, chu~..."

0:12: The choreography looks pretty strong from the start (although I still find Amber pretty awkward doing some of the other moves)
0:16: Victoria never fails to amaze me (with her stretching at the back)
0:20: Sleeping Beauty reference is sweet
0:23: Victoria is so pretty. *is jealous*
0:27: I guess part of why Krystal has more lines is that her images is more fitting for a girl group (in terms of her higher-pitched voice and her pretty/innocent look) while Luna's voice is just a lot stronger and her look is spunkier.
0:34: Sulli is so adorable here. For once, she actually looks her age. Krystal doesn't even look like the group's maknae throughout the video.
0:46: The choreography for this part is cute and easy to follow. xD
0:57: Victoria needs to be in the middle more, yes.
1:16: Girl, you really don't look like a 14 year old.
2:10: I'm actually alright with Amber's rapping. Probably because I don't really pay much attention to raps in the first place. She's no CL but she's okay.

Amber is definitely one of the more, if not most popular member of f(x) in Korea, evident from the (mostly female) screams during their LIVE performance. Well, I've spent enough years with all-girls education, to not be Amber-bias. xDD

2:26: She's been doing it for numerous times now but it's still amazing to watch Victoria work her flip. ♥ ♥
2:45: I can say I only quite like their blue outfits. The other outfits go without saying. xD

Plus, I just realized that Krystal is usually in shorts, Luna and Amber is usually in trousers, Victoria's outfits always make her look sexier (maybe it's just the fact that she's now a teenager like the rest) and Sulli is just cute in everything (including the horrible black dress + pink tights combination) she wears.

Overall, if it's not obvious enough, I'm very Sulli bias (Victoria too but not as much) and that is why I am alright with the Sulli overload. However, I do think that more shots of Victoria and Luna are needed.

Yes, I'm bias but it's so nice to see them performing to a pink ocean instead of a black one. Plus, Fany looked like she really enjoyed herself up there. ♥

Super Junior's Sorry, Sorry (Remix)
No other group fills the stage as well as SJ. I'm just so used to the sheer amount of members, the stage feels incomplete without at least 7 people. LOL.

Super Junior-M's Super Girl
RyeoWook's voice was amazing and so was Henry's solo dance. Plus, the fact that they were no Only 13 chants made it so much better.

Kara's Mister was pretty enjoyable and so was 4 Minute's Muzik. I'm just not really a fan of both songs. On the other hand, I was more amazed by the increase in volume of cheers when Amber started her rap during f(x)'s LA ChA TA.

2PM's Again and Again was alright and they left Jay's place empty, awwww. ♥

Big Bang's Lies should have been broadcasted over 2ne1's Fire. Minji was great as usual but I felt that the other were kinda lacking? I've no idea.

And SMTown's Let's Go On a Trip was sweet but it just made me miss DBSK more! Interactions were cute though. Henry/Amber. xD Seo Hyun/Sulli. Jung sisters. Geng/Vicoria.

Written on 27st Sept 2009 but couldn't post it due to terrible Internet connection

Typing the date is seriously freaking me out. My finals is really just a month away. Sigh. Ah, and I’ve not blogged about this before but since I've not had a long entry for a while, I thought I should.

I’ve always been thoroughly amused with our local television channels for having occasional times where about 50% of the television screen will be filled with messages sent in by audiences with random thoughts or opinions on the topic for the day, particularly those on 8tv during the weekends, from 1am-2am. Mainly because they will two hosts who comes on to give the week’s round-up on the latest news on light-hearted issues like gadgets, websites and entertainment, which fills about another 35% of the television screen. Additionally, because a huge number of the messages sent in through SMS are by KPop lovers, they actually do KPop updates and even play KPop music videos. The reason I brought this up though was because Saturday night’s was crack and I’m actually following it now (it’s the Sunday night slot today) Apparently, they are going to talk about JaeBum(going back to Seattle)’s incident later? O.o

Since it is still 1.04am, I will type about Saturday’s episode and wait for the KPop news segment. It started with the news on the latest iPhone gadgets or something like that but I wasn’t really paying attention. Instead, I was focused on reading the SMS-es that were coming through, which were revolving around some Jessica-hate. This hate was attributed to past rumours of her with DongHae and someone even mentioned her and G-Dragon, which made me go… WHAT?! Really? LOL. The only news I know of the both of them was that rumour of them appearing on WGM.

Oh, and before I forget, I managed to watch Tsunami! Let’s see, second time alone in the cinema? Hehe. If you like to watch disaster-centric movies for its special effects, you can consider it. If you are into good acting though, watch it. If you want an emotional movie with light-hearted moments here and there, watch it!! xD There were several scenes, especially those revolving around Kang Ye Won’s character, which made a lot of people in the cinema laugh. (Despite being alone, I was in good company. The irony.) I was also surprised to see Jung Hwa in the movie. Plus, I’m normally not a huge fan of Min Ki but I enjoyed his acting in spite of the cliché development in his character. There are quite a number of cliché things regarding the movie but overall, it’s pretty good.

( Sunday's short episode review )

Today wasn’t as entertaining though, the only part that made me laugh was when they mentioned 2ne1 regarding the group’s 100th day celebration and showed a video clip of them talking about it. After that, Host B highlighted how the entire group said “Wassup Up!” very well in English (maybe he should listen to “The Leaders”) before reverting to Korean and made a joke about how they were probably from Seattle (JaeBum reference, obviously). xDD He also said that it was weird for CL (he knows her name?! Nooooo, there goes the fun…) to be talking while showing “gangster-ish” hand movements, despite her feminine face. ROFL.

Well, better go get some sleep now. ^^

Beautiful ballad! ♥ It's pretty much Taiwanese boyband stuff but with x5130130460106 better voices, especially every time Kyu/Wookie comes on. Kyu's voice is plain gorgeous and with Wookie's high notes = perfect combo. Zhou Mi is as solid as ever. Absolutely love three of their voices during the bridge. I must say, Geng too seem to be singing much better in this album. And Henry still is awfully cute. xD

P.S: What is with GD's outfits in the Breathe MV?! ROFL.

As much as I am fond of SNSD, Sica's appearance was really redundant and a waste of footage. xD I know I sound terrible saying that but comparatively there were so few up-close shots of ZhouMi and SiWon, which was no good considering how great both of them looked. Siwon makes a good Edward Cullen.

By the way, seems like I'm the only one slightly disappointed by the MV? I think it has a lot to do with
a) auto tones; why on earth do they need them when they have Kyu and Wookie?!
b) lyrics; "Oh my super girl, 我是你的 super man...Oh my super girl, 你的我是 baby girl". It's just... ROFL-worthy. Parts of it were really cheesy too.

I WANT DANCE VERSION LIKE NOW!!
I still think Sorry, Sorry had better choreography. Not really feeling the "paint my nails" dance, as the others have been referring it too. xD

Nonetheless, bias is great. The fact that Geng is not only the main character but is also in the middle for almost the entire MV is ♥ [1:27-1:29! xD]. It's also nice to see Henry getting a decent solo dance part. Not forgetting, I'm glad they kept with the Wookie-Henry combination because their voices blend together well.

Overall, SJ-M IS BACK! MOST DEFINITELY INCREDIBLE!

In short,

0:04--Need MORE shots of Victoria because I'm leader bias, as usual. ♥ Her dancing comes off as a little more sexy in nature, maybe due to age? Or maybe it's just me. ^^

0:06--Sul Li is cute in almost everything she does. All girls are pretty but for me, Sul Li really stands out by being less of a conventional beauty, speaking of which...

0:07--Amber is alright? I feel that she looks really feminine, sans the dressing and hair. Then again, I would have had doubts if I didn't know she was a girl, since so many Korean male idols exude femininity. She seemed a little awkward in some of the dancing shots? I can't wait to hear her rap during their debut though. They just had to make her open the car's door, didn't they?

0:08--It's hard not to recognize Krystal's voice when it sounds almost like her sister's. She's shaping up to be the next generation's YooNa alright(sweet and easy on the eye). Her dancing is probably the most natural next to Victoria's.

0:10--Luna. Luna on the moon. xD I think she's spunky. Love her voice right from the start and her dancing is a little more powerful compared to the rest. ^^ Plus, I finally realize who she reminds me of, Pochahontas. LOL.

The MV is average but at least it doesn't look cheap, which Genie kinda did. xD By the way, this video is also good for the "spot a familiar SM choreography" game. ROFL.

Err... I need time. I rarely like songs the first time I listen to them. There are exceptions but Lachata is not one of them. I guess I need time to revert back to non-autotoned songs since I've grown to like those which are not overdone. Plus, this song is rather anti-climatic. Amber's rapping is alright, not really as good/strong as CL's but we'll see, maybe it's just because of the nature of this song? ^^ I'm anticipating the MV release.

( Upcoming events/deadlines )

I've been waiting for the World Badminton Championships (WBC) tournament in Hyderabad, India since May and now it's over! The worse part was that I was having my busiest week (with 3 assignments due and one test to sit for) and only managed to really enjoy the matches during the weekends (the SFs and Fs matches). Regardless, that was just 10 matches and I didn't even enjoy the China vs China ones. So, I was just thinking how much longer I have to wait for the China Masters (Sept 15th-20th) and I guess with my upcoming schedules, it's not that long after all. LOL.

JJS/LYD vs CY/FHF during the Finals for WBC was of epic proportions. The last set especially was a thriller.

Anyway, the new semester is definitely a killer. Not so much that the units are tougher, just that juggling MACC work together with it does not leave me with quality time for revision. xDD And it's worse due to habit of procrastinating. I hope everyone on the my f-list wouldn't mind me not commenting so often. ^^

I just wished Hyeo Yeon would have been part of the dance battle. I can't wait for it though. It's been a while since.
